This year, the first CD of the Yad Rachel children’s club was released in Bat Ayin. At the beginning of the year, each child received a guitar and throughout the year they learned to play. The music lessons were given to them by the coordinator of the Center and at the end of the year the children went to a professional recording studio where they recorded these four songs. Everyone’s excitement was very great and we are very proud of the children and the staff for the special process they have undergone thanks to music and no less than the amazing results that can be heard here:
In response to the needs of the community, Yad Rachel operates a network of 27 After School Educational Therapy Centers across Israel, which provide a safe, enriching and experiential space, where at-risk children and their families get individually and professionally tailored educational and psychological therapeutic treatment. Each one of our After School Education Therapy Centers provides the kids and their family members with skills that help them to cope successfully with challenges of life.
Yad Rachel currently operates 7 parent-child centers across Israel, serving over 800 at-risk children and their families. These centers offer their help to foster the family relationship and allow for a positive impact on the child’s development. During the therapeutic process, we work closely with the family, creating a partnership, to identify problems and formulate the most effective and sustainable course of treatment for that family.
